The personal website and blog of Gavin Kromhout.

During my adventures I often discover interesting things in detail because I like to tinker and have a rather pedantic nature. Which is good for my knowledge but not always so good for my wallet in the short term 🙂 But in the long term it is this fine detail that is of great value. Here those musings and writings may be assembled by the over analysing database.

I love design and problem solving and as a result I am some what autodidactic in many areas including computers and programming.

My current professional career path is in maintenance planning including asset management, performance, availability and reliability analysis. I hold dual trade qualifications in electrical and instrumentation. Along with tertiary qualifications and experience in control systems and electronics.

I am also the primary author of gnuMims an open source Maintenance and Inventory Management Solution for your Assets.
